I lead a quiet life and share my home with a mustang horse, a donkey, a 19 y/o cat and a 125 lb dog who is species confused, at times thinking himself a donkey, or a cat or horse. I am a retired professional. I'm not as physically active as I was once due to some physical limitations, but I have a good sense of humor and enjoy many types of more sedentary activities. I enjoy books, movies, card and board games, going to the museums or zoos, etc. I also am a poet at heart and enjoy thoughtful conversations with women of substance. I do not like meanness, head games or drama. I am former military having served in the 70's. I am sincere, loyal and forthright in my approach to relationships and have been single by choice for a long time. I am relatively new to living in the country and would like to make Friends before moving into a deeper relationship. I am neither butch nor fluff, but rather am simply a woman who loves women. I can be whatever the mood calls for in my relationships. And I can dress up as easily as I can dress down...comfort being key. I am affectionate and romantic and easy to get along with and I have a healthy sense of my own boundaries. I enjoy thinking just for the sake of thinking. My undergrad studies were in philosophy having many questions about life. Of course, I only came out with more questions rather than many answers.
