Playing my trumpet; playing my guitar and singing covers of my favorite artists; visiting my daughter and grandson in Eureka; sitting in my favorite cafe in North Beach on a rainy weekday looking out on the view of Washington Park and savoring the best bagel & lox plate in San Francisco; going to the DeYoung Museum to see the paintings from the Musee D'Orsay Impressionist & post Impressionist paintings; going to any concert by Mariza, Cesaria Evora, or Lila Downs; driving north with my favorite cd's singing along with my favorite songs; lazy Sundays with late breakfast, New York Times; listening to Selected Shorts on a Saturday evening; playing board games with friends; dining out with friends; cooking at home for friends; walking in Golden Gate park; drifting off to sleep to the sound of fog horns; listening to rain; engaging in deep meaninful discussions about the meaning of life; making long, langorous love to someone in whom I delight and who delights in me.
