Let’s start off by saying I’m 5’1” and a plus-size gal looking for a kindred soul that is one part nerd, one part romantic, one part chef, one part explorer, one part builder, and must love animals. See I’m not looking for much. I will settle for a romantic nerd that likes animals. Actually I'm new to all this so I don't know what to ask for and could really use a guide.

I have a wicked sense of humor, the ability to make friends fast, be adventurous, be highly independent, intuitive, flexible, curious, open-minded, creative, and love exploring. I can hold a pretty good conversation on a myriad of topics and I am just as good at both talking and listening. I am pretty handy at DIY projects inside and outside the house. Yes I have power tools and I’m not afraid to use them!

Meeting for coffee at lunchtime and she is so awesome that she takes my breath away. Then spending the afternoon talking and clicking so that the time stretches out to include Dinner where we maybe end up at the beach to watch the sunset.

I know how to sail and canoe, I'd like to learn how to kayak and try one of those Midnight paddle trips around St. Augustine or Cedar Keys.

I like being a spontaneous person exploring new places and things; be it an awesome blues/jazz club, nifty farmer’s market, finding a great book, or tasty BBQ joint. I believe there needs to be trust, honesty, and friendship before things can move along in a relationship and I like to take the time to build it. So I am looking for a partner that is just as compassionate, can laugh at puny things, and likes to "live and let live".
