I'm Alecks, and I'm hardly conventional. I hold intellect in high regard, and I love to learn. I'm exceptionally fond of words, and I'm always excited to find and use new ones. I adore literature, both modern and fine, and my very favorite work is Harry Potter.
Books aside, I'm also a huge movie/music lover. I tend to like independent films the best, and the Decemberists are certainly my favorite band. I'll watch/listen to almost anything though!
I'm a budding artist, and I delight in capturing both the anomalous and austere. I'm a fan of the natural world, and it shines through in my art. Another favorite subject of mine, most unsurprisingly, is the female figure.
I'm extremely open-minded, and will give most anything a chance; or at the very least, thoroughly consider it. I adore spontaneity as well as structure, and my idea of fun varies vastly, from going to the Museum to going to the Theme Park.
I'm easy to trust and hard to make an enemy of, because I don't let much get to me. I have a few close friends and a thousand acquaintances, and I'm always looked for someone worth deepening the bond with, romantically or not.
