Hi and thanks for looking at my profile.

Those who know me tell me I'm a sweet and generous-hearted soul, kind and loving. I'm romantic, upbeat, a lover of life who adores being hugged and made a fuss of - but I'll return that affection a million fold to the right woman. I'm also strong, funny, smart, and a bit sassy. I'm looking for my forever love, and wondering where the heck she is!

I'm a writer, a thinker, a lover of both culture and reality TV (quite the dichotomy). I exercise a lot (running, zumba, kickboxing, dancing - I just have to move), and I read a lot (fiction and non-fiction, magazines, and all the little exhibit labels at museums). But I also love to go to parties, events, dinners out, family gatherings, or just going somewhere new for the sake of it.

I'm English, but have been here a while - only twinges of the accent remain. I'm femme, love fashion and to get all dressed up whenever the opportunity arises. I adore dogs, like cats but am somewhat allergic, thinking about taking riding and golf lessons this season, enjoy history and dancing. I love a good cocktail and glass of wine (though I'm no aficionado on the latter), learning, travel, am pretty much an upscale girl.

What I don't like: camping (sorry!), fast food, crude humor, bad manners, comedians, pomegranates, green beans, watching sports (except for sport movies), and probably one or two other things I can't remember right now. I'll try most anything once - as long as it doesn't involve balance or balls coming at me!

I don't want to be too specific here, because life is full of surprises. But here's what I know I like (but maybe not all I like). I am attracted to women who are soft butch/ sporty types (don't have to necessarily be athletic though - in fact, I like a few extra pounds) - a woman with a masculine vibe but who may still like to put on a dress every know and again. I like good dressers (preppy especially), and strong personalities - go getters with focus and drive. That said, I want someone who can focus on relationship building too; if you have a million priorities that must come first, I am not the one for you. I prize education and intelligence, sophistication, good conversation, the ability to laugh from the belly, and a love of being social. You enjoy life and live it with gusto.
