Just looking around for the time being. Hoping to meet some new people and see what happens. For the most part I can be fairly shy and quiet but once I'm comfortable, you'll find I'm outgoing, energetic, and pretty funny (if the situation warrants humour). I can be serious too and am astute at assessing a situation and whether or not I need to be. I am a music freak... I love many genres and am constantly on the lookout for more. For the most part, I like music that is somewhat mellow and can be interpreted, stuff that has "substance". Having said that, I have no problem cranking some Top 40 tunes or various oldies. I am a big hockey fan and used to play but haven't in some time now. During the winter I more or less would prefer to be inside, but I can certainly be convinced to go for a ski, a skate, or on an ice fishing and/or ski-doo expedition. During the summer, I am all about being outside. Specifically, on the lake - enjoying the water, the sun, a cold beer and good conversation.

Something where there is a lot of opportunity for talking. I find it's always so hard to really gage someone's personality via Internet contact so its important to be able to do so upon first meeting. Probably a pub for a drink and possibly dinner (if the drink goes well) - ha.

I absolutely love going to concerts. If it's a mellower sort of band, I will go just to check them out and see if they're awesome (even if I've never heard of them - in fact, that makes it more fun). Adore nights at home just relaxing and taking it easy either alone or with friends. Love love love to camp - tent camp, trailer camp, doesn't really matter.

Someone who is honest and family-oriented, has a good sense of humor and can appreciate mine. I'm more attracted to someone who can be gentle and is good at talking, knows how to assess a situation and what kind of talk is appropriate - serious, casual, humorous. I also have an appreciation for a woman who can offer constructive criticism if necessary or when asked for and deliver it in a way that isn't completely rude and insulting.
